BURMA'S POLITICAL PRISONERS WALK FREE (Human Rights Watch)

On the 12th January 2012 Burma's government announced a presidential amnesty that saw the release of more than 200 political prisoners including leading dissidents from the 88 Generations students, ethnic leaders and members of the opposition party the National League for Democracy. This audio slideshow for Human Rights Watch covers the release of many of the political prisoners as they arrived back in Rangoon and war reunited with their friends and families.
