There are approximately 10,000 former political prisoners still living inside Burma, faced with the constant threat or re-arrest at any time.
For the safety of the former political prisoners photographed inside Burma all images are strictly embargoed. If published all of those involved will be charged under Burma's infamous draconian laws such as the Emergency Act, the Electronic Act and the State Protection Law and would be facing jail sentences of up to 30 years.
